Before we begin…
What to expect:
Soma Structural Integration uses postural and movement assessments to support the efficacy of the work. Therefore, sessions will begin with a standing postural assessment and finish with movement education. Please wear something similar to what you would wear swimming; underwear, loose shorts or spandex shorts work great. If you prefer to cover your chest, I provide tube tops as they allow for better access to shoulders and neck, however if you feel more comfortable with a swim top or bra, that’s fine. Also, it’s nice to keep a water bottle in your car so that you can hydrate directly after the session.
Covid and Illness Info:
If you feel sick or have been sick before a session, please let me know. It’s not advisable to receive bodywork when you are sick, so contact me and we will discuss. If you have recently been traveling, or have been around anyone who is or has been sick, please kindly mask during our session. This helps me protect all my clients, especially those who are immunocompromised. Thank you for your help!
Cancellation Policy and Timing:
To make schedule changes, please notify me at least 48 hours before the appointment. Late cancellations and “No-Shows” will be charged the full amount of the session. If you are more than 15 mins late to a session, that is considered a “No-Show,” the session will be canceled and you will be charged the full session fee.
Expect to spend around 2 hours for each session—if you have time constraints be sure to let me know before the session.
Payment:
The cost for each service is noted on the appropriate page. There is a 2.75% fee for using a credit card. I accept Venmo, local checks, and cash (ideally exact change). Please visit our Packages page for discounts and bundle deals.
HSA and FSA debit cards are accepted.
I do not accept insurance at this time, but can supply clients with a superbill if desired.
